Birthday Command Center is designed to be useful without asking for more personal information than you need to use it.

Birthday Command Center Ā· Last updated: September 14, 2026

Birthday Command Center is a browser-based tool for organizing birthdays, anniversaries, countdowns, ages, milestones, plans, notes and memories. This policy explains what happens to information you choose to enter and how browser-based storage works.

Information you choose to enter

You may choose to enter a first name, nickname, initials or another label; a birthday or anniversary date; categories; notes and memories; photos; countdowns; Age Lab information; and planning details such as tasks, budgets, guests, invitations and messages.

The app does not require a person’s full legal name. You generally do not need to enter an address, phone number, email address, government identification number, medical information, financial information or other deeply personal identifying details. Add only what is useful for your own planning.

If you record information about another person, please use reasonable judgment and avoid entering details they would not expect you to store.

Information the app does not ask for

Birthday Command Center does not require your full name, email address, phone number, home address, contacts, government identification, payment information, passwords, medical information or financial information.

How your saved information is stored

The app currently saves your command-center records in local storage provided by your browser. This keeps the information in that browser on that device and browser profile. Your records are not made publicly visible through the app, and they are not accessible to another person merely because they use the same Wi-Fi network or IP address.

The app reads your saved information when it opens and automatically attempts to save changes as you make them. Local storage normally remains available when you close and reopen the browser.

Important local-storage limits

Local browser storage is convenient, but it is not the same as a password-protected account or encrypted vault. Someone who can use the same device, operating-system account or browser profile may be able to access it. Browser extensions, malware, device backups or other software may also create risks outside the app’s control.

Saved information may become unavailable if you clear site data, reset or replace your device, change browsers or profiles, use private browsing, block browser storage or exceed available storage space. For important information, use the app’s backup and export tools regularly.

How information is used

Information entered into the app is used to show upcoming dates, calculate ages and milestones, create countdowns, organize plans and tasks, generate reminders and summaries, and prepare exports and backups.

The app does not sell your entered information or use it for targeted advertising.

Browser notifications

If you enable browser reminders, the browser may display notifications for birthdays, anniversaries, countdowns or planner deadlines. Notification text may include a name or event label and could appear on your device’s lock screen, depending on your settings. You can disable notifications through your browser or device settings.

The app does not send email or SMS reminders.

Backups and exports

The app may let you download JSON backups, CSV files, calendar files, documents, invitation text and photos. Downloaded files are separate copies outside the app’s browser storage. Anyone with access to those files or the service where they are stored may be able to open them, so share them only with people you trust.

External websites and services

Optional features may open Google Calendar, Google Search, Google Maps, music sources, astrology websites or other reference sites. When you open an external link, you leave Birthday Command Center. The external service may receive information included in the link and will handle it according to its own privacy policy.

Technical information and hosting

Like other websites, the hosting provider may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as requests, device or browser information, security information and error logs. This is separate from the records you choose to store in the app. Birthday Command Center does not use technical information to create advertising profiles.

Security

We take a minimal-data approach and design the app so ordinary records can remain in your browser. No website, browser or device can guarantee absolute security, so avoid entering information that would create unnecessary risk if someone with access to your device or browser profile saw it.

Access, correction and deletion

You can review, edit or delete records through the app. You can also remove locally stored information by clearing Birthday Command Center’s site data through your browser settings. Downloaded backups and exports must be deleted separately from your device or storage service.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app’s features, storage arrangements or privacy practices change. If the app introduces accounts, cloud synchronization, analytics, advertising, email or SMS delivery, or another significant form of data processing, this policy will be updated accordingly.
